How to Extend Your Stay
You can extend your 60-day visa-free stay by an additional 30 days:
- Visit any Thai Immigration office
- Complete Form TM.7
- Pay extension fee: ~โน1,500 (THB 1,900)
- Get 30 more days
New: Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)
Effective May 1, 2025, all tourists must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card online:
- Fill out 72 hours before arrival
- Completely free of charge
- Required even for visa-exempt travelers
- May be denied entry without it
Thailand e-Visa System
From January 2025, Thailand launched e-Visas for Indians:
- Apply at: thaievisa.go.th
- Processing time: ~14 working days
- Useful for longer stays or work purposes

Possible Future Changes
Thailandโs Tourism Ministry has proposed reducing visa-free stays from 60 to 30 days for 93 countries including India. This is still under discussion and not yet implemented.
